Sara Roberts McCarley knows what it takes to tackle problems. As a mother and a community leader, she understands the issues facing Lakeland's families, and as a current city commissioner, Sara's advocated for responsible spending and transparent government.

She was instrumental in improving the quality of life of our residents as the former Director of Polk Vision and through Best Buddies International. Sara's volunteer service includes the Bonnet Springs Park Board of Directors, Randy Roberts Foundation Founder, Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance Board Member, Junior League of Greater Lakeland Sustainer, Ridge League of Cities VP, Sun N Fun Board of Directors, and Night to Shine Volunteer.
